The Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan, Jakarta, Indonesia
Do yourself a favor ~ book a stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Jakarta and be pampered from the moment you enter the hotel!

We booked the Executive room and privileges for 3 nights ~ and I have no regrets about paying a bit extra for all these benefits AND I cannot find anything to fault the hotel on……!
From the moment you enter the lobby, the check in counters, the restaurants, the spa & pool & gym, the halls to the executive floor ~ there is staff everywhere to help & assist and attention to detail is obvious all throughout the hotel.
The rooms are on the higher floors, providing nice views of the city and are equipped with everything expected from an Executive room. The rooms are big & spacious with a sitting area, desk, big bathroom and a small walk in closet area.
The room rate included 5 meals: breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner (with free flow alcohol) and dessert & cordials.
The dishes varied daily and was really interesting and tasty. The chefs were in and out of the food area, and was always eager to help and give some advice & input about the dishes available.
Breakfast could either be enjoyed on the Executive floor or downstairs in the bigger restaurant. Since the hotel was not too busy while we were there, we enjoyed our breakfast downstairs where the staff always greeted everyone with a friendly sincere smile.
There is also a free shuttle service available to drop guests off in the surrounding area of the hotel.
The executive lounge is located on the 26th floor.
This is by far the best Executive lounge in a hotel that I have thus far experienced. The staff are extremely friendly, well trained, helpful and fluent in English. A special mention here of Rully who helped us to find out about our flight time that was changed. And also Risya at the lobby concierge desk, who was very friendly and helpful in giving some advice and suggestions about the city on our first day.
The design and decoration of the lounge is nice, letting guests feel calm and relaxed. The ambience and atmosphere is quiet, hushed and pleasant, with guests being considerate and courteous towards others ~ no children allowed from Mondays to Fridays.
The hotel also boasts a decent sized gym and workout area, a kids club, spa & massage, steam rooms, saunas & jacuzzis and a big outdoor swimming pool.

There is almost no need to leave the hotel, since everything is included and available to spend a few days relaxing.
This executive package is not the cheapest option around, but I highly recommend it for the pure luxury & indulgence of letting yourself be spoiled by the great staff, standards, facilities and services of the Ritz-Carlton!
