Locavore, Manila, Philippines

I have been to the Philippines about 4 or 5 times now, and never have I ever been wowed by the local cuisine and food ~ until my last visit when we had lunch at Locavore….

The food was tasty, delicious and decent & satisfying portions!

The restaurant we went to was located in the BGC area, and as far as I know they have one or two more restaurants in Manila.

The place was busy and we had to wait for a bit for seats, thankfully not too long, and it seems like this is not the cheapest place to eat, but still affordable nonetheless and by no means excessively expensive.

The menu is big - literally - and they offer a wide variety of food and dishes. Thankfully we had local friends with us, so they helped and suggested some dishes to try…

Let me just say, it was good! The portions and servings are nice and big, enough to order a few different dishes and share to get a taste of everything, and it was tasty! Like in really unique and interesting flavors and tastes that appeal to the palate.

Have a look at the photos to get those tastebuds watering and make some time in that schedule to stop by Locavore when visiting Manila next time!
