North East Restaurant, Bangkok, Thailand

We stumbled upon this restaurant purely by chance walking back to our hotel one night ~ and ended up going there twice for dinner during our last visit in Bangkok.

The first time we went by ourselves and found the food to be tasty, decent sized portions and good quality.

And then 2 nights later we met up with some friends visiting from Europe and we ended going here again!

The food was satisfactory with both visits and I can safely say that this is sort of our new favorite restaurant in BKK.

The turnover and waiting time is usually not too long, provided that your group is not too big. The fist visit we were seated immediately and the second visit had to wait about 5min. It was pretty popular and busy both times we were there.

The waiting staff speak some limited English, but enough to communicate and make a few jokes with.

The menus were pretty clear with lots of pics and both Thai & English descriptions.

The prices are affordable and in my opinion a good option for a cheap and tasty Thai dinner!
